The Nut Tree Certified Farmers' Market, put on by Local Harvest Markets, will feature high quality and fresh produce from Solano and the adjacent counties. The market will be held at the new Nut Tree USA complex at 1681 East Monte Vista Avenue in Vacaville. Held Wednesday evenings August 4th through November 17, 2010, the market is sure to attract families, travelers and locals looking for entertainment and quality food. Our Goal We are dedicated to finding ways to help local farms feed their community. Local Harvest Markets is a heritage project of the Vacaville Museum. Our goal is to provide the communities with direct links to fresh food from farms. A Certified Farmers Market (CFM) is conducted in accordance with the California Administrative Code Title 3 Article 6.5. The Nut Tree Certified Farmers' Market is managed, operated and controlled by Local Harvest Markets (LHM), a heritage project of the Vacaville Museum. The LHM governing body and its executive director will have the authority to implement and enforce these Rules and Regulations at its Certified Farmers Market and will do so in a fair and equitable manner.
