A Sustainable Farm grows their crops while protecting their plants, their people and their planet for future generations to enjoy! Certified Organic farms use OMRI approved pesticides, insecticides, fungicides, and fertilizers in the growing of their crops. They receive a certified organic farm certificate for following these rules. If you must buy organic, we suggest you please buy from a safe American farm not from foreign source. Our farm is a food safety certified farm. To maintain certification, our farm, packing house, and operations are regularly inspected by the government. As a certified farm we are not permitted to use organic fertilizer, because it is animal waste based, and that allows a potential for E. Coli outbreaks. Until there is an organic fertilizer approved that can be safely used on a food safety certified farm we will remain sustainable.
