Grow, Sell & Eat Local!

GreenMarket Pompano Beach will begin its tenth season on Saturday, October 13th, 2012. The Market will be open for business every Saturday through April 27, 2013, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. This year the Green Market will be moving to a new location, on the southwest corner of Atlantic Boulevard and Cypress Road, just east of City Hall. This relocation was made necessary by planned construction in the old downtown area. GreenMarket Pompano Beach is presented by the Pompano Beach Historical Society in partnership with the Pompano Beach CRA and is committed to providing the best and freshest fruits and vegetables, juices, baked goods, seafood, gourmet teas and coffees and other food items, as well as orchids, plants and health-related products and services. Visitors will find art, books and historical images available at the GreenMarket, as well. Opening day ceremonies will take place October 13th at 10:30 AM and will feature our traditional "pepper ribbon" cutting by local officials. Future Green Market Saturdays will feature art shows, historical walking tours of Pompano Beach historic downtown, antique automobile shows, environmental exhibits and products, and other special themes. Live musical entertainment is presented every Saturday. GreenMarket Pompano Beach is actively seeking vendors who offer unique, high-quality items. We do not accept vendors who resell manufactured items. For more detailed information, click the “Vendors” link above.
