The Athens Farmers Market, LLC, a not-for-profit corporation, is a farmers’ market operated in accordance with state, county and local laws, for the benefit of farmers and consumers alike. The two fundamental purposes of the Athens Farmers Market are: To foster improved business conditions for local farmers, gardeners, food processors, artists and craftspeople. To provide the community with a place to buy fresh produce, crafts, objects of art and food direct from producers in a congenial atmosphere.
