The Farmers Market at The Village at Harmony Crossing returns for its 7th year in 2013. The event brings everything from fresh produce, meat and dairy to handmade pens, soaps and pottery. On Saturday, May 4th, The GA Farmers Market at The Village at Harmony Crossing returns for its 2013 market season. The markets will run every Saturday beginning May 4th through September 28th from 8am-noon on the shopping center’s event lawn. Now in its 7th year, the market serves to promote the local farmers and artisans of the Lake Oconee community and offers fresh, local produce, handmade crafts, fresh baked goods, meats, honey and dairy products to patrons of the Lake Oconee area. Each Saturday, an average of 25-30 vendors is on hand selling homegrown and handmade items to hundreds of market shoppers. Market attendance can fall anywhere from 400-500 into the 1,000 range on holiday weekends. We have everything from produce, baked goods, jams and jellies to handmade pens, soaps and pottery. To become a vendor at The Ga Farmers Market at The Village at Harmony Crossing, vendors must sell products that are Georgia made or Georgia grown. No commercially sold items are allowed at the farmers’ market. Vendors must have a tent in order to display and are limited to three tents per week.
