West End Senior Center Wednesday Farmer's Market

Located in the heart of downtown Buhl, The West End Senior Center has occupied a renovated JC Penney department store (circa 1927) since 1982. The parking lot was once the home of the first hotel in Buhl, aptly named The Buhl Hotel. It was built around 1921 and is the reason the town itself is not laid out on a north-south, east-west direction. It housed a barber shop, bakery, jewelry store, etc...but was destroyed in a fire. Come in and visit our History Corner. More and more information is added as it becomes available. Our mission is: To sustain and improve the quality of life and independence of our aging seniors, and provide opportunity through health services, outreach contacts, nutritious congregate and home-delivered meals, on-site events, special outings, transportation access, volunteer programs and fellowship. We strive to provide those opportunities and services with integrity, friendliness, compassion, accomodation, and professionalism.
