The original Belvidere Farmer’s Market and Crafts opened in 1987 as the Hometown Market. Today, the Belvidere Farmer's Market and Crafts is now the only Farmer's Market in Boone County. The original Market was held on Saturday’s in the Blackhawk State Bank Parking lot. The Market has moved locations and changed many time over the past years. It is now located in the parking lot at the Dodge Lanes Bowling Alley.
