Vernon Farmers' Market Association was established to give growers and producers of Posey County and surrounding areas, alternative marketing opportunities for their agricultural commodities and farm-related products; at the same time promoting 'locally grown' products and provide a variety of fresh, tasty, nutritional produce to the residents of our community at a reasonable cost."
Mt. Vernon Farmers' Market Purdue Extension is one of the nation's largest providers of scientific research-based information and education. The Purdue County Extension Service serves communities and counties across Indiana with program areas in: Agriculture and Natural Resources, Consumer and Family Sciences, Economic and Community Development and 4-H Youth.
