The mission of the Big River Economic and Agricultural Development Alliance (BREADA, bred-uh) is to build a healthy and strong local food system; to increase sustainability of independent local farmers, fishers and food producers; and to foster stewardship of land and community through public markets. The current special projects of BREADA include the Red Stick Farmers Market and Main Street Market. BREADA is the Louisiana regional coordinator for Buy Fresh Buy Local.
