Grow, Sell & Eat Local!

The City of Gaithersburg presents two Farmers Markets, providing residents with locally grown produce throughout the growing season. The variety of fruits and vegetables changes weekly as different crops reach maturity. The Main Street Farmers and Artists Market is open Saturdays, May 4 through November 23, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. You’ll find it in the Main Street Pavilion at 301 Main Street, one block off of Kentlands Boulevard. A variety of local artists with unique handcrafted items will join the farmers at this location each Saturday. Products available for purchase include a vast assortment of fruits and vegetables, jams and jellies, various herbs, cut flowers, and potted plants, baked goods, dog treats, meat, eggs, and honey. Our arts and craft vendors will be selling jewelry, photographs, health and beauty products, knitted items, quilts, purses, woodworking items, clothing, children’s accessories, yard art, and more! The Fulks Corner Farmers Market has extended its operating time. The market will be open Thursdays, May 2 through November 21, from 1 to 6 p.m. You’ll find it at the corner of Route 355 and Fulks Corner Avenue. Crafters will not be present for this market. Products available for purchase include a vast assortment of fruits and vegetables, jams and jellies, various herbs, flowers and plants, honey, cider, fruit butters, baked goods, and a variety of meat.
