Pikesville Farmers Market

The goal of the plan is to create a main street to attract shoppers and new businesses to Pikesville. With the trend moving away from large malls to more main street ambiences, Pikesville has a natural main street with an opportunity to offer shoppers and diners an attractive and pedestrian friendly environment. The proposed changes are affordable and minor cosmetic changes which will transform the area from Old Court Road to Sherwood Road. This plan sets design standards for Pikesville that have been adopted by the county through the County Design Review Panel as a requirement for all Pikesville businesses that do façade changes or new construction. The Baltimore County Department of Economic Development is offering 0% loans to anyone making improvements as part of this plan. This is our "Field of Dreams - Build It and They Will Come". If we can implement these changes, it will transform Pikesville into an exciting and dynamic main street. It will allow us to attract new businesses and new patrons to Pikesville. The Baltimore County Department of Economic Development is assisting in this process by making zero interest loans available to property owners.
