Grow, Sell & Eat Local!

The Town of Pepperell, established 1775 (as a district, 1753), is situated some 35 miles northwest of Boston adjacent to the New Hampshire border and amidst rolling hills, lovely New England woodlands, and the confluence of the Nashua and Nissitissit Rivers. Once a stop on two railroad lines, Pepperell has a rich history as both a mill town and farming community. In keeping with Pepperell's history as a farming community, the Pepperell Agricultural Board along with the Prescott Grange started the Pepperell Farmers' Market in 2007 as a place for local farms and farmers to sell their wares. At the market you will find several local farms selling a wide variety of fresh picked and wonderfully ripe produce including heirloom tomatoes, sweet corn, multitudes of greens and lettuces, fresh herbs, blueberries and apples, and many many more of the seasons best vegetables and fruits. You'll also find grass fed beef, local eggs, honey, local cheeses, fresh baked bagels, fresh baked breads and scones, and fresh cut flower bouquets. Several local artists and artisans also attend the market on a regular basis.
