And we'd love for you to come by for a visit. About Saline, Michigan Downtown Saline has the charm of a small town that continues to change with the passing of each decade. The area is full of historic buildings over a century old, combined with buildings built in the 1950’s and 1960’s. The entire area has seen tremendous growth and vitality with new homes, new retail businesses, exceptional restaurants, unique specialty stores and a world-class Rec Center. Our wonderful community has over 8,000 residents and covers 4.14 square miles. Saline enjoys an abundance of parks, museums, walking paths, retails shop and businesses that can be enjoyed by all. Special events that include the Farmer’s Market, Sports Cars to Saline, the Saline Summerfest, the Harvest of the Arts Oktoberfest, and the Summer Music Series are held in the streets and parking lots in downtown Saline. The events are a coordination effort between the Downtown Merchants Association, the Chamber of Commerce and the City of Saline.
