The Board of Directors of the Benson Farmers Market, a Nebraska nonprofit corporation, adopted this Mission Statement as the Preamble to its Bylaws on September 14, 2011: The Mission of the Benson Farmers Market is to provide a venue where our community can access fresh, locally-grown foods and artisans' goods and services. The Market supports neighborhood outreach, wellness, and health by hosting family-friendly events that invite participation from the community at large. The Market creates a place that is welcoming and that encourages direct relationships between producers and consumers.
