The mission of The Walpole Farmers Market (WFM) is to support the production and consumption of local products, increase awareness of the value of these products, expand the market for them, and help foster sustainable practices. We will strive to: provide a pleasant, convenient, central place for the buying and selling of local food and other agricultural and value added products grow our area’s ability to feed itself by expanding the market for local food support our local farms increase awareness of the value of farm fresh food promote the health of the local and regional food shed and the local and regional economy promote all outlets for local and regional food, including, for example, other farmers markets and locally owned and operated stores and restaurants selling local and regional food use as little packaging as possible and encourage the use of reusable bags and containers for purchases
