Reap's Olean Farmers Market

R.E.A.P. is an organization that brings together farmers, small scale food processors and local business for the purposes of: exchanging information providing a support network sharing successful projects and ideas managing markets for members to sell their products problem solving making new friends In 1987 R.E.A.P. grew out of the need for interaction and peer support among rural entrepreneural participants in a Farming Alternatives workshop. The Olean Farmers' Market was opened in May 1990. The following year the group expanded to Salamanca, later in Franklinville as well. Today, however, only the Olean Market remains.
