Downtown Farmers Market At Public Square

A member of the Growhio collaborative, Downtown Farmers Market was established in 2010, bringing a farmers market to Public Square for the first time in over a century. 2012 marked the third season for the market. Downtown Farmers Market accepts debit, EBT, WIC, SFFNP. "Produce Perks," a food assistance program that offers a dollar-for-dollar match (up to $10) for fresh fruits and vegetables are also available with EBT transactions. DFM is supported by partnerships with Cumberland Development and Dick Pace, Cleveland-Cuyahoga County Food Policy Coalition, Downtown Cleveland Alliance, Neighborhood Connections, The George Gund Foundation, Wholesome Wave, Growhio, The Historic Warehouse District Development Corporation, and Councilman Joe Cimperman’s Office.
