Grow, Sell & Eat Local!

The Gallia County Farmer's Market made its 2010 debut in downtown Gallipolis on State Street, adjacent to the City Park, and was modeled after open-air markets across the state and country. By partnering with the City of Gallipolis, the Gallia County Farmer's Market hopes to help draw the community downtown and represent Gallia County and its strong agricultural heritage. The realization of the Gallia County Farmer's Market is credited to group of dedicated volunteers who recognize the significance of promoting local farmers as well as bringing fresh produce and locally grown goods to the community. The Gallia County Farmer's Market is currently seeking producers to sell their goods during the 2012 market season. Vendors will have the option to purchase daily or yearly sales passes. Potential products can include but are not limited to: fresh fruits and vegetables, cheese, honey, eggs, dairy products, flowers and bedding plants, homemade Jams and Jellies, and other market goods.
