Our Mission The Cooper-Young Community Farmers Market provides the residents of Midtown and surrounding neighborhoods with a socially diverse, year-round marketplace that supports local farmers, producers and artisans. To foster good health, development and food security in our city CYCFM partners with local organizations to provide community outreach, health and wellness education, and access to affordable, nutritious food. CYCFM provides community outreach, health/wellness education, and access to affordable, nutritious foods to low-income communities through: Urban Agriculture Entrepreneurship Program, in collaboration with Grow Memphis and Knowledge Quest, to deliver business skills training for urban farm/community garden participants in Orange Mound, South Memphis and Binghampton Double Greens Delivery, a pilot project for a new neighborhood delivery system to increase consumption of fresh produce in low-income communities CYCFM Full Circle Dinners, with local chefs cooking delicious, multi-course meals from locally-sourced fruits, vegetables and meats CYCFM Community Table, featuring a variety of health/wellness activities, including cooking demonstrations, yoga, canning & pickling, non-profit initiatives, and promotion of kid-friendly events around the city
