Grow, Sell & Eat Local!

Established by an Act of Assembly at Jamestown in 1680, Urbanna, Virginia is one of the nation’s oldest towns. And, with a land mass of less than half a square mile, it’s also one of its smallest. Located on a sheltered, deep-water creek on a tributary of the Chesapeake Bay, Urbanna’s history, economy, ecology and culture ebb and flow with the waters that surround her. This is the town’s official website. It provides information about town government administration and services. Go to urbanna.com for a complete guide to Urbanna attractions, businesses and events. Unless otherwise noted on the agenda, all meetings take place in Town Council chambers on the second floor of the Town Office at 45 Cross Street. Council chambers are accessible by stairs and motorized chair lift.
