Grow, Sell & Eat Local!

The 2011 season of the Silverton Farmers Market kicks off Saturday May 7th and continues through October 15, 2011. The market is open 9AM to 1PM every Saturday. The Silverton Farmers Market is dedicated to providing a friendly, comfortable place for customers to buy products directly from the farmer that grew it. Our purpose is to provide a source of fresh, high quality farm products to customers, while enhancing the vitality of Downtown Silverton. We aim to feature growers/producers mainly from Marion, Polk, Yamhill and Clackamas Counties, but in any case all offerings must be grown/produced in Oregon. The Silverton Farmers Market has quality produce, flowers, berries, eggs, chicken, pork, artisan breads and pastries, unique plants and nursery stock, as well as jams and jellies, and garden related art. The Silverton Farmers Market is a marketplace but also a community place- a space where friends and neighbors meet to chat, where different community organizations can provide education and do fundraisers, and where everyone can relax with lunch and listen to the music
